ArkStream Cap2026-10-08 09:16:02ArkStream says Binance is becoming a stock venue as crypto shifts deeper into RWA marketsArkStream Capital’s latest quarterly report argues that crypto is moving through a structural transition rather than a broad-based speculative rebound. In the third quarter of 2026, macro pressure intensified as repeated U.S.-Iran tensions pushed Brent crude back above $100, gasoline prices lifted inflation expectations, and the Federal Reserve delivered its first rate hike since 2023. Yet bitcoin still rebounded sharply, rising 42% over the quarter, while trading increasingly tracked the Nasdaq instead of gold. The report says the recovery was narrow. Fresh capital mainly entered bitcoin through spot ETFs, not through on-chain dollar liquidity or a wider altcoin rotation. ArkStream also argues that the meme cycle that once defined crypto’s speculative edge is no longer the market’s main engine. Robinhood Chain and Circle’s Arc drew attention after launch, but activity on both networks remained heavily concentrated in meme tokens, launchpad assets, and stablecoin lending rather than genuinely new asset classes. Where ArkStream sees the clearest growth is in tokenized finance and real-world asset trading. On Binance and Hyperliquid, stock-linked and other RWA perpetual contracts became the largest source of new industry volume in 2026. The firm also says tokens backed by real protocol revenue and sustained buybacks outperformed other altcoins in the quarter, suggesting that cash flow durability may matter more than TVL or raw trading metrics in the next phase of the market.10
